PERMISSIONS

☩ TRIGGERS (ooc). I'm a pretty tough nut to squick in terms of horror/gore/dark themes. That said, I prefer to steer clear of things pertaining to rape, sexual violence, racism (or most any kind of "ism"), homophobia, and so on.

☩ TRIGGERS (ic). Don't ask him what it's like being a demon/the son of a demon/evil/damned etc. You'll only end up getting hurt.

☩ MEDICAL INFO. It'll take a lot to knock Hellboy down. As well as his natural accelerated healing factor, he's built like a brick wall. He also ages very slowly: although he's over sixty by human count, physiologically he's in his prime.

☩ MENTAL INFO. Hellboy hasn't got much in the way of psychic ability, so his mind has pretty much the same layout as any normal person's (albeit with more memories pertaining to giant ghost slugs).

☩ FOURTH-WALLING. Hellboy has his own comic back home, so saying you recognise him from the funny pages won't get you much of a response. He's also pretty used to people telling him about his Past or his Destiny. That said, I'd rather nobody spoils him too much: keep it casual, okay?

☩ PHYSICAL CONTACT. Stuff like handshakes and manly shoulder clasping is fine. Generally, if Hellboy wants physical contact he'll initate it himself. You do something he doesn't like (for instance: pulling on the tail), you're going to find out pretty damn quick.

☩ ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. You want to pucker up to the big red lunk, go right ahead. Just watch out for that giant stone hand. I play Hellboy as a pretty unfussy pansexual.

☩ INJURE/KILL. Hellboy has canonically withstood a whole lot of ass-whupping, so you are more than welcome to try. Succeeding will be judged in a case-by-case basis. Please contact me before you attempt anything.

☩ DEVICE HACKING. Sure. Hellboy's not the kind of guy who worries too much about fancy gadgets anyhow.

☩ ANYTHING ELSE. just ask!

CONTENT WARNINGS / OPT OUT

☩ Hellboy is a demon from Hell, the son of a greater Duke of Hell. Therefore a lot of his character and history is based around Biblical themes, Satanic themes, etc. The Biblical nature of his canon is a form of mythology, with Hellboy using Biblical relics as part of his arsenal against the forces of darkness. He's dealt with some pretty nasty shit and will freely discuss it or muse on it in tags.
